Online Learning Resources

Welcome to our Online Learning Resources Hub.

The move to online learning at Town Close in the lockdown periods resulted in the creation of an extensive pool of resources, that, at the time, supplemented the teachers’ online contact time with the children and offered challenges, ideas and experiments for the children to try at home. We have created an extensive library of these recorded lessons and downloadable resources, arranged on one page for Prep and by year group for Pre Prep; there is also a page that features our Prep and Pre Prep Assemblies that took place over the Summer Term and a page dedicated to wellbeing. We hope that you and your children enjoy and benefit from the resources provided.

We hope that a lot of children will benefit from the Online Learning Resources hub and enjoy the lessons and activities our staff have worked incredibly hard to produce and deliver.  I am incredibly proud of the children, our fantastic teaching staff and our supportive parent body for all we have collectively achieved since March. A wartime spirit of community, resilience and camaraderie has spread through the School and the wider communities that we all live in; the real lessons to be learned from this time are built on these values and long may they be remembered and perpetuated.

The children have taught us a great deal through this experience – they have embraced this ‘temporary’ normal and, together with their parents, have risen to the challenges put before them. Their work, energy levels and creativity have been exemplary and, as a team of staff, we have been equally inspired and motivated by them on a daily basis.
