Town Close is a leading independent day school in the city of Norwich that strives to be amongst the best prep schools in the country. Our admissions and registrations procedure is designed to provide a comprehensive insight into our school, its outstanding facilities and the exceptional education that we offer.
The School has approximately 500 pupils. The usual points of entry are from three years of age (Nursery), four years of age (Reception) and at seven years of age (Year 3). We admit a small number of pupils at Year 2 and we also welcome applications at other ages where space permits.
Places are allocated following an assessment visit and are always subject to a satisfactory report being received from a child’s previous school, where this is relevant. A registration form may be completed on-line and submitted electronically or alternatively a form may be downloaded and returned in hard copy. On receipt of a registration form and registration fee you will receive a formal acknowledgement in the post and your child’s details will be included on the admissions list for that year group.
