Playing Fields

In addition to a high specification Astroturf facility, the School has three playing fields.

Main Field, as it is known, has two rugby pitches, two cricket squares, cricket nets and a 400 metre athletics track. A thatched pavilion serves the 1st XI cricket pitch. The field is used by all Prep Department children at different times throughout the year.

Our second field is known as Fairfield and is used for girls’ cricket matches as well as for junior boys’ rugby and football. There is also space for athletics events, particularly hurdles and field events.

Our third field adjoins the Sports Hall and has cricket nets and a modern long jump pit with an all weather runway.

We also make good use of our Front Lawn, which is ideal for all Pre Prep events and sports days. There is plenty of space for a variety of races but in an enclosed environment with plenty of space for families to come and spectate.
