Year Seven’s tour of Medieval Norwich
The Year Sevens enjoyed a fascinating walking tour of medieval Norwich as part of their ‘Local Studies’ topic in history. Their route commenced at Saint Peter Mancroft before progressing through the city market and along the renowned cobbled streets to the magnificent Norman Cathedral. The children were treated to a taste of the religious and secular medieval architecture of our city, and learnt about the city’s prosperous past as the largest and wealthiest provincial city in England, second only in importance to London. What an amazing city to live and study in!
