Year 6 Humanities Trip to France
Year 6 Humanities Trip to France
Our Year 6 enjoyed the Humanities school trip of a lifetime to France hosted by our very own Town Close tour guide extraordinaire, Mr Kendrick . Over the course of a week, they visited the Pegasus Bridge and the British Normandy Memorial at Ver-sur-Mer; Courseuelles-Sur-Mer and Gold Beach; the Airborne museum and market at Sainte-Mere-Eglise; the beautiful and moving British Normandy Memorial; the German battery at Longues-sur-Mer and the Mulberry port Arromanches; Bayeux including the Cemetery, the Cathedral and the Tapestry; the Church at Angoville-au-plain; and Utah Beach. A full week of fascinating locations, inspiring people, engrossing activities and lots and lots of fun with friends.
