Year 3 visit the Time and Tide Museum

To further their knowledge on Polar environments and in preparation for their new Geography topic ‘Living in the Freezer’, our Year 3 pupils ventured out to the Time and Tide Museum where they were transported back to 1908 to prepare, discover and record a Polar expedition. They met and interviewed characters from the 1901 Discovery expedition and enjoyed a range of hands on activities, learning about the difficulties of surviving in such a harsh climate. Thank you to the Museum staff for an immersive and enjoyable morning.
