Year 3 visit the Time and Tide Museum in Great Yarmouth

Year 3 enjoyed a fascinating trip to the Time and Tide Museum in Great Yarmouth to further the pupils’ knowledge of life in Stone Age Britain. The day was separated into a range of different activities that offered an insight into the survival methods of the time; these included building a Mesolithic shelter before a storm arrives, exploring historical artefacts and tools, and tracking and hunting a deer with a huntergatherer. The children were fully engaged by the costumed guides who truly brought the subject to life for us!
