Year 3 and 4 Celts and Romans Day

History off the Page led an enthusiastic band of Year 3 and 4 Celts and Romans on a takeover of the Read Hall. Through a range of interactive activities and role play, pupils gained an understanding of the issues that led to the Boudiccan Revolt, as well as an invaluable insight into day to day life in Roman Britain. In the afternoon, a Roman feast with food, music, dancing and plays demonstrated how the Romans celebrated their victories on the battlefield.
