Year 2 visit Pizza Express

Our Year 2 pupils demonstrated their culinary prowess at Pizza Express last week, creating and preparing their own pizzas. As a continuation of their ‘Farm to Fork’ topic, the children considered each of the ingredients that were on offer, and were encouraged to think about how those ingredients were grown and transported ready for consumption. The children then had the opportunity to explore the extensive range of books and resources at the Forum Library whilst their pizzas were cooked and boxed. A final walk through the city worked up their appetites in readiness for a truly delicious feast of pizza that they all thoroughly enjoyed upon their return to School!
