Year 2 visit Norton’s Dairy

Our Year 2 children thoroughly enjoyed a trip to Norton’s Dairy last week as part of their ‘A Happy and Healthy Life’ topic.  They visited Merlin (the robotic milking machine), met the baby calves and also learned about the range of crops that are grown on the farm. The visit gave the children an understanding of the numerous health benefits of dairy foods as well as the processes involved in delivering these foods from farm to fork.
