Year 2 visit Honingham Thorpe Farm

Our Year 2 children were very grateful to Honingham Thorpe Farm for welcoming them for a visit linked to their Royal Society project about growing a pollinator garden.  They all thoroughly enjoyed their farm walk, spotting the growing crops of rape, barley, wheat and onions and learning more about what crops need to grow. Extra special thanks to Mr and Mrs Alston, Mr Sisson and Dr Teresa Penfield for being our expert panel on the day, fielding the children’s questions about farming and biodiversity.
