Year 1 visit Banham Zoo

Our Year One pupils thoroughly enjoyed a trip to Banham Zoo where they observed and studied a vast range of animals as part of their topic ‘Humans and Animals’. A Discovery Workshop gave the children close access to a variety of animals that included insects, molluscs, reptiles and mammals, as well as the opportunity to touch and hold some extraordinary biofacts.

Each of the groups followed a stamp trail around the zoo and were awarded with their Banham Zoo medals at its completion. They also thoroughly enjoyed a trip to the Adventure Playground that concluded a busy and extremely interesting day!
