Year 1 venture out to Thetford Forest

Our Year 1 children ventured out to Thetford Forest this week to explore the forest environment in readiness for next half term’s focus on nocturnal animals.  Within the forest, the children considered what kinds of animals would live there, their particular habitats and diet, as well as the wider forest setting. They enjoyed exclusive use of the Forest Shelter with its dedicated treehouse, undercover picnic area and heated cabin, as well as the numerous adventure play areas, the sculpture trail and the opportunity to collect an abundance of autumn treasures!!
