WALSINGHAM VISIT

The children in Year 6 visited Walsingham to learn more about Christian denominations and pilgrimage. Mrs Lovelock and Mr Arden guided us around the Methodist, Roman Catholic and Russian Orthodox churches in the morning. Then, after a hearty packed lunched and some souvenir shopping, we went into the Anglican Shrine. The children had opportunities to compare these different religious buildings looking for differences and similarities. We will be continuing with this work back in the classroom.
