U12 County Cup Champions
Twenty four schools gathered at Gresham’s School to play Netball in the U12 County Cup Competition.
Our Town Close girls won all of their matches in their group stage progressing through to the finals as the group leader. They then met Norwich High School in the semi-final and enjoyed a convincing win eleven goals to three. Next step the final, facing Norwich School, and another victory, scoring seven goals to two.
Well done to the whole squad who showed excellent defensive and attacking skills, grit and determination alongside a positive and determined outlook throughout. Without a doubt Town Close were the best team there and deserved winners.
Congratulations to Millie, Lotty, Florence, Florence, Alessia, Tilda, Martha, Anashe as well as to their coach, Mrs Wells.
