Reception visit to Thetford Forest

Our Reception children thoroughly enjoyed their excursion to Thetford Forest this week. Drawing on their recent topic focusing on trees and the signs of autumn, our pupils observed the colours and autumnal environment, constructed dens and undertook a range of activities and challenges as they followed the Highway Rat sculpture play trail. It also provided a fantastic link into the key author for the next half of term when the children will be focusing on Julia Donaldson’s works.
