Reception trip to High Lodge at Thetford Forest

Our Reception children literally jumped into their current topic ‘Into the Woods’ this week, visiting High Lodge at Thetford Forest. They had a wonderful time exploring the forest environment and building dens, as well as following the ‘Zog’ trail and meeting the Gruffalo which linked beautifully with their current key author, Julia Donaldson.  The forest and the wild adventure play areas are inspiring environments for learning and play and the children all returned to School with plenty of stories and memories to draw upon in their learning.
