Norfolk County Music Festival

The music department has been busy representing the school at this year’s Norfolk County Music Festival. It was a great opportunity to perform in the community and to hear music ensembles from other schools in the local area. Well done to the Senior Wind Band for their ‘outstanding’ result and to the Senior Flute Group, Intermediate Flute Group and Chamber Choir who all gained ‘Highly Commended’. We were adjudicated by none other than Paul Harris (famous music educator and composer of music education books) who was highly impressed with the quality of music making at Town Close School, describing us as: ‘The School to be at!’
