News from the Château

The weather continues to bless the Year 7s in Normandy. The children thoroughly enjoyed all the activities yesterday and they had a wonderful time at the camp fire after dinner, singing songs and eating marshmallows. They have eaten some fantastic food so far this week and after dinner Mr Hewitt asked the children how they felt their French was progressing. The responses were as follows, “I know more useful words….my accent has improved…I now understand what people say…”. The best answer, though, was: “It’s lovely being able to talk to people in their own language!”
