More fun at the Château

On Monday the children had a guided tour of the Château and played energetic outdoor games, an excellent way to dispel pent-up energy from the journey. After a delicious lunch the different groups took part in French lessons, orienteering, aéroballe, circus skills and climbing. Before dinner they made a start on their French diaries and in the evening they played yet more energetic games in the sunshine.

The French animateurs and the staff have already been pleased to hear some excellent French from our pupils, who are really entering into the spirit and sharpening their French communication and listening skills. The weather is beautiful again today and a full day’s activity includes French lessons, orienteering, archery, climbing, canoeing and the assault course.
