Introducing our School Charity, The Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital

The Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital host our Pre Prep Assembly

We were delighted to welcome Lauren & Mercy from The Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital, part of the Norfolk and Norwich Hospitals, to host our Pre Prep Assembly this week.

The Jenny Lind Hospital is a hospital within a hospital for children and young people. They have a consultant team of acute general paediatricians, neonatal paediatricians, paediatric surgeons and community paediatricians who are supported by an extensive team of specialist nurses and other professionals including physiotherapy, dietetics, speech and language therapy and play specialists.

We are very proud to be supporting the hospital this year as our School Charity and it was wonderful to hear of their incredible work in our community.  The funds raised through the course of the year will be allocated to purchasing essential equipment for the hospital that will help support their young patients clinically and emotionally.

There will be plenty of opportunities to support the Charity throughout the School year and we look forward to updating our community and the hospital with our progress.
