Colts A Cricket Success

The Colts A cricket squad have enjoyed tremendous success this term.  They have been unbeaten in their regular Wednesday fixtures and won the Norfolk Cup last week with an excellent team performance against Norwich Lower School.  At the Framlingham College Festival, the boys won three out of their four matches against strong opposition from East Anglia to win the competition ‘Bowl’.  As representatives of Norfolk, the team competed at the East of England finals at Chigwell recently.  After some tough games, the team will not proceed further to the national competition but the boys should be very proud of their achievements this season.  An indication of the strength of the squad was seen at the inaugural Culford ‘t20’ competition after half term where the team finished as runners-up to a full-strength Suffolk Under 11 side!
