A very ‘Special’ Town Close Triathlon

The atmosphere in school on Monday the 25th of June was buzzing with energy and excitement as all of the children took part in the School Triathlon event. Throughout the day each and every child swam, cycled and ran with a huge level of energy and determination, raising a fantastic sum of £2,624.11 for our School charity ‘Special Olympics Norfolk’. Whilst the sporting participation was the key element of the day, it was truly wonderful to witness the camaraderie and team spirit exhibited by all of the children as they supported each other through each element; a wonderful demonstration of the ‘Town Close Way’ in action! A special thank you to the organisers, to ‘Special Olympics Norfolk’ for their magnificent support of the event, and to all of the parents and friends who sponsored the children, and attended on the day to clap and cheer so enthusiastically!
