A new, furry addition to the Town Close School Team!

The secret is out! A gorgeous Australian Labradoodle puppy, will be joining the School later in the year to work within our esteemed Learning Support Department led by Mrs Rymarz. ‘Bella’, whose name was voted for by the pupils using the alternative vote system, has been carefully selected for her calm temperament and friendly demeanour, and we are all incredibly excited that she is joining the team!

Bella will undertake an intensive professional training programme to ready her for life in a school before joining us before Christmas. The presence of a dog within an educational environment is proven to aid the educational, emotional and physical development of children and we hope that Bella’s presence will be an incredibly positive one for all of our pupils, parents and staff!
