Year 6 girls raise vital funds for our Charity
A group of Year 6 children set up their own craft stall last week, raising important funds for our School Charity, Break. Georgie, Iris, Amrita, Heidi and Annabel spent the weeks preceding the sale producing a range of individually designed, handmade goods to sell including pencil cases, hair scrunchies, bookmarks, bags and friendship bracelets. They set up their socially distanced stall in the School playground at lunchtime selling to their Year 6 peers and raising an incredible total of £161.40 for Break. A representative for Break commented on their efforts: ‘Thank you for your creative and entrepreneurial skills to help raise money for Break!’.
Break is a children’s charity based in East Anglia providing hope and support for vulnerable young people and families. We are very pleased to be supporting this local charity as our nominated School Charity for another year and are incredibly proud of the girls’ ingenuity and thoughtfulness.
