Astroturf

Our full-size, floodlit Astroturf pitch was officially opened in May 2011 by current Great Britain international hockey player, Olympian and former Town Close School pupil, Richard Alexander.

The pitch is sand-dressed, one of the most advanced surfaces available. Our children can enjoy use of the facility all year round – for hockey throughout the autumn and winter, and the summer term sees tennis and cricket sessions in full swing.
