Year 7 ASA (Adventure and Skills Academy) Camping Trip to Whitlingham

On Friday night, Town Close’s Year Seven Adventure and Skills Academy members travelled to Whitlingham Broad for their exciting camping experience. Having set up their tents and cooked their own dinner on oil-fired cookers, the children settled into an evening of quintessential camping, complete with an evening walk, marshmallows around a campfire and cold toes! The morning brought sunshine and an opportunity to participate in a range of water-based activities, including raft building, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. The children were thoroughly engaged by the activities and demonstrated excellent behaviour and teamwork.
