Success at the East Area Prep School Athletics Championships
A talented squad of Year 6 athletes competed in the East Area Prep School Athletics Championships in Bedford last week, performing extremely well to post a range of impressive times and distances and gaining valuable competition experience.
Special congratulations to Ben for winning the gold medal in the 100m and to Andreas for achieving silver in the high jump event. Ben, not only won his final, he also broke the School record that had been in place since 1973! Andreas was only pipped to the gold on countback, clearing a superb height of 1m30cm.
Well done to the whole squad who Mr Wood reported were a joy to coach and spend the day with.
