County Success for our U11 Cricketers
County Success for our U11 Cricketers
Huge congratulations to our U11 cricketers who finished runners up in the County Tournament yesterday at Grehsam’s School. The Town Close girls played mature cricket, working together with a solid team spirit. The bowling was accurate with 22 wickets being taken throughout the day and the batting was much improved with good running and several strikes to the boundary. Having had good wins in the first three matches finished Runners-Up in the tournament scoring 295 runs over the course of the day, which, amazingly, was the same total of runs as the winners. We now go on to represent Norfolk at the English School Cricket Association (ESCA) Under 11 Cricket Finals on the 13th June at Framlingham College – well done girls!
