Year 3 and 4 Grandparents and Important Adults Morning
Our Year 3 and 4 pupils welcomed their grandparents and important adults into School to enjoy a morning with children’s author and illustrator Elys Dolan. Alongside our Year 2 pupils, they all listened attentively to Elys introduce her character Rex from her fantastic book ‘Rex: Dinosaur in Disguise’ and explain how Rex was inspired by her longstanding love of dinosaurs. They then enjoyed a carousel of activities linked to the book and reading.
It was a wonderful morning of intergenerational fun and teamwork that launched our week of book focused activities and events as we count down to World Book Day.
