Year 4 venture out to the Time and Tide Museum

To extend their topic work on ‘Storms and Shipwrecks’, Year 4 ventured out to the Time and Tide Museum to discover more about Norfolk’s Royal shipwreck – The Gloucester. They were transported back to 1682 when The Gloucester, a warship carrying the future King of England, ran aground off the Norfolk coast. A number of interactive activities gave them a valuable insight into the passengers who were onboard, the decadence of court life and the events that led up to the tragedy.
