Year 8 French Trip to Château de la Baudonnière

Our Year 8 pupils had a fabulous time in France at Château de la Baudonnière, enjoying bread making, raft building, a muddy assault course, teamwork activities and archery, all whilst immersing themselves in the French language & culture.  A trip out to visit the magnificent Mont Saint-Michel was a magical highlight of their residential experience.

A week at the Château is said to be as beneficial to a pupil’s French learning, speaking and listening as a whole term of lessons. This visit will undoubtedly prove to be of huge benefit to our Year 8 pupils as they approach their Common Entrance exams in the summer.
